The ERASMUS+ KA2 NEFELE project (Neet prevention in Education systems through positive Future vision Enhancing Learning and teacher Education) aims to implement in curricula of teachers in training and tenured teaching modules to enable training on the issues of career development in adolescence and “support them to support” their students.Recognizing the function of education systems to ensure a safe space for children students to plan their future, teachers take on a key role in support to the career building of their students. This workshop aims to open a debate with teachers and all school staff involved by disseminating a training model useful for carrying out this function. During the event includes a hands-on session in which participants will be able to learn and play with the NEFELE BOX created by the partnership to enhance the career exploration of students through a digital game. NEFELE in Maastricht
NEFELE in Maastricht On September 19-20, 2023, the European Association of Distance Teaching Universities (EADTU) hosted the fourth meeting of the NEFELE project in Maastricht. The first day was dedicated to the final remarks of the NEFELE MOOC and NEFELE BOX. All Partners enjoyed playing together and testing the game. The second day of the meeting, 20 Sept., was focused on the design of the NEFELE OERs SHARED PLATFORM. The idea is to create a WebApp on career guidance to promote career decisions in students and help other people (teachers, parents, career practitioners) find helpful information on career paths to support adolescents. NEFELE in Athens
NEFELE in Athens On February 16-17, 2023, the Hellenic Open University hosted the third in presence meeting of NEFELE project. The first day was dedicated to the recording of both the audio for the NEFELE serious game, and the lessons of the NEFELE MOOC, that will be available in English, Italian, French, Spanish and Greek. The MOOC consists of 5 modules based on the NEFELE framework, and will be available in September 2023. The second day of the Partners Meeting, 17 February, was about the state of the art of the project, focusing on the open issues to be addressed for the two project results scheduled in the upcoming months: NEFELE MOOC and NEFELE BOX. NEFELE in Valencia
NEFELE in Valencia On June 6th, 2022, the Universitat de Valencia hosted the second transnational meeting of the NEFELE project. It was a fruitful meeting with discussions on the closure of the NEFELE framework; brainstorming on the application of ICT innovation to design and develop the NEFELE BOX. A key element for the project’s success is the involvement of teachers in the co-creation of the training material. The first occasion in this direction will be the Multiplier Event in Valencia (see more). Unquestionably, this meeting was a precious possibility for an actual restart in presence, restarting to communicate face to face and discuss around a table and a good meal (in this case, a wonderful Paella Valenciana 😊).
